The process for changing your password is very simple.

From your WHSC computer

Simply press CTRL+ALT+DEL on your

Don't do this on your home computer!

This process will change the password for whichever account you’re logged in as. If you do it on your home computer, it’ll change the password for that computer, not your WHSC account!

If you’re using a home computer, use the “From a web page” instructions below.

From this screen, select “Change a password”

Press CTRL+ALT+DEL to get to the Security Options screen, where you can change your password.

This takes you to the Change Password screen. Checking first that your username is correct, enter in your current password, then your new password twice. When you’re done, press “Enter” on your keyboard or click the arrow next to the “Confirm password” field.

Press “Enter” on your keyboard or click the arrow highlighted above to change your password.

From a web page

If you’re using a different computer, you can still change your WHSC password via a web page. Simply head to https://passwordreset.whsc.vic.edu.au/, click “Change Password”, and enter your username, current password, and new password twice, and the verification code.

Click the “Change Password” button to begin.

Be sure to enter your username, current password, new password twice, and the verification code.

Your password has been changed!

If you cannot access your account – perhaps your password has changed, or your account is disabled – then you will have to visit the IT Office.

Administration staff

Staff employed in the Administration area will need to go through some extra steps when changing their passwords. See the Admin Staff – Change eduMail password process document for more information.
