Has my laptop been repaired?

When you contact the IT Department to have your laptop repaired it is your responsibility to collect it. Additionally, we also on occasion require extra information from you – insurance claim forms or financial contributions, for example.

In both situations, it’s important that you check in with the IT Department to see what stage your laptop is at.

How do I check the status of my laptop?

To check the status of your laptop, you can visit the IT Department in E Block outside of class time or check the status screen online.

What do the statuses mean?

In process

We have your laptop and are either working on it, or waiting for the repair company to work on it. Sit tight, it should be fixed soon!

Ready for return

Your laptop is all fixed and waiting for you to pick it up.

Waiting for user action

We need you to do something. We might be waiting on payment, or some insurance claim forms, or even just your password so that we can set up your laptop. Either way, please talk to the IT Department so we can get your laptop returned to you ASAP.
